Chris Simpson
Owner/Chief Instructor

With over 10 years of experience in emergency servivces, Chris has servied in multiple roles. He began his career, in 1993, as a volunteer firefighter in Alabama. After receiving his Paramedic certification from the Alabama Fire College, he obtained his Volunteer Firefighter Certification and Confined Space Training from the Fire College.
Chris has continued his career in Mississippi where he served 10 years on the rescue/engine of a central Mississippi fire department. Currently he serves as the training officer for the department and as a rescue technician for the special operations division. He is trained to the technician level in multiple topics such as: rope rescue, confined space operations, trench rescue, hazardous materials, terrorism response & vehicle/machinery rescue. Chris also serves as a dive rescue specialist/invesigator on multiple dive units.
Chris is also a nationally certified Firefighter I & II, Driver/Operator-Pumper, Instructor I & II, Safety Officer, & Fire Officer I & II. He brings all of his training and over a decade of responding to emergencies to each training course. With this dedication he is able to provide students with up-to-date information that will help them respond safely & efficiently.
Scott Coggins
Rescue & Haz Mat Technician/Instructor

With over 9 years of experience as an emergency responder, Scott is able to bring that time and experience to his students. He began his career in a northeast Mississippi fire department as a firefighter/EMT. While there he served also as a hazardous materials technician on the regional response team. Scott currenty serves as a rescue firefighter/EMT with a central Mississippi fire deparment.
Scott as has been trained to the technician level in rope rescue, confined space rescue operations,structural collapse rescue, hazardous materials, vehicle/machinery response & terrorism response. Scott also serves as a dive rescue specialist/investigator on the dive unit.
Scott is certified as a Firefighter I & II, Driver/Operator-Pumper, Safety Officer and is trained in fireground leadership. Currently Scott serves as a Sgt with his department and brings all of his training & experience to the classroom to assist students with how to respond in the "real world".
