Incident Safety Officer

Developed by the National Fire Academy, course is designed to educate departments on the importance of implementing and using set safety standards on the emergency scene. This course will help the firefighter and the fire officer identify safety issues that may arise while on the emergency scene. This course will cover subjects including the role of the incident safety officer, standards and regulations, risk management, documentation, and incident considerations.
