Description:
This course is 90% classroom. This course was developed for anyone wanting basic knowledge
in rapid intervention teams. The course will cover subjects such as what is a RIT, what does
a RIT do, when do you need a RIT, what training does a RIT need, how to you use a RIT, tools
used by RIT and how does the RIT fall into the ICS.
This course is a great awareness course for fire chiefs and other supervisors. Also, for any rapid
intervention team that is just gettting started and wondering what rules and guidelines they need to follow.
This course will give you the basic knowledge needed to start a RIT.
