Haz Mat for Hospitals Operations Level -- Personal Protective Equipment (Module 2)

How to select, don, and doff the proper personal protective equipment. Understanding the hazards and limitations of personal protective equipment.

This module addresses the use and constraints of personal protective equipment. After the different types of chemical protective clothing and respiratory protection are explained- the fun begins. A student is brought up and with two helpers the instructor demonstrates how to don and doff the PPE. The class is then broken into groups and each person has the opportunity to don and doff the equipment and get inspected by one of the instructors.
