Haz Mat: Awareness LevelDescription:This program is designed for those 1st responders mandated by law or called upon by necesssity to prepare for and respond to emergency incidents that involve hazardous materials. First Responders include firefighters, police officers, emergency medical service workers, industrial emergency response workers, utility workers and many others from both private and pulic sectors. This course will prepare students to meet the objectives at the awareness levels contained in NFPA 472, Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Incidents, OSHA 29 CFD 1910.120 and EPA 40 CFR 311.
