Certified Volunteer Firefighter Level IDescription:This course covers the basics of firefighting. The topics include fire behavior, fire control, personal protective equipment, rescue, ropes and knots, ventilation, forcible entry, and loss control. Upon successful completion of this course and successful completion of an 8 hr practical skills day at MSFA. The student will be state certified as a volunteer firefighter level I.
