Southern Rescue Response will bring over a decade of training and responding to your agency to better prepare you to respond safely. We believe that you should be proactive in your response to protect your responders and to protect the public. Our training courses are not "box courses" that are made for large departments and scaled down to "work" for smaller agencies. We look at your agency, your response procedures and your staffing and tailor the course for you.
We believe that all agencies deserve that same level of training. Our staff will work with your department to provide you with a complete training course. All responders should be properly equipped to safely handle whatever you respond to, no matter what your budget size, the number of apparatus or the number of your members.

We are proud to announce a new rescue school.  We are now offering an Overland Search and Rescue course.  With this course your personnel will be able to perform search and rescue operations for lost individuals or any search operation in open/wooded areas.  This course offers 1-2 nights in the classroom covering various topics and 2-4 hours in the field performing a search operation.  The course is for operations personnel as well as command staff.

Due to course demand and requests coming in, Southern Rescue is now announcing a new policy to all personnel requesting a course.  Since we have gotten multiple request for courses within the same months, we are now asking departments/agencies to download our Course Request Form. If your agency is requesting a course, please fill out the form and fax/mail the form to us.  We also have had to introduce a course deposit fee.  Do to demand for training, we can no longer "block dates" for an agency without a formal request.  If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to contact us.

Our staff is made up of active responders and they know that if your members do not enjoy their training they are less likely to remember the information, less likely to implement the information, & will not be effective on the scene. The training courses are taught on an upbeat level and we will make sure that the students enjoy the training environment.   We will prepare your students to respond and handle the emergency with professionalism, efficiency, and most of all safely.  Your students will enjoy their training experience and learn many skills that we have refined over years of teaching and responding.
